EDC is an abbreviation for the English term EveryDay Carry – the items we carry with us daily! There isn't really a Swedish word for EDC, so it has become a loanword that, funnily enough, has really started to gain traction in Sweden and the Swedish language.
What counts as an EDC tool?
EDC tools are compact, easy-to-carry pocket tools that you always have with you – in your pocket, on your keychain, or in your bag. These can be multitools, flashlights, knives, gadgets for opening things, fixing things, or just having ready when something unexpected happens. The best tool is always the one you actually have with you!
