Being able to make a fire is not just cozy – it's a basic need for survival. A fire steel works even in very challenging weather conditions and lasts forever. This is definitely the largest and most robust fire steel we've had in the shop!

Striker with clever EDC functions

When Maratac designed this stainless steel striker, they really put some thought into it – resulting in a 7.5 cm long, complete multitool:

• Bottle opener that also functions as a holder for hex bits
• Pry bar/scraper/flathead screwdriver
• Ruler 0–50 mm
• Map scale 1:100,000 (0–5 km)
• Hole for lanyard/keyring

Paracord lanyard with reflective material

The striker and fire steel are connected by a paracord lanyard with reflective material – making it easier to find with a flashlight in the dark. Paracord can be used for a multitude of things and is a must-have in your EDC for expected and unexpected situations.
