The PM2 model has been around for a long time and has become something of a cornerstone in the Spyderco world. It is often referred to simply by its abbreviation, PM2. This is a substantially sized folding knife suitable for many tasks – an EDC knife that will not go unnoticed.

Micarta handle with character

The PM2 has been available with a couple of different handle materials over the years – finally, it's time for a much-requested micarta variant. Micarta is a very durable composite material that truly ages with style. The more you use your Spyderco Para Military 2 Cru-Wear, the more character and personality the micarta develops, which is very dry when brand new. Over time, it will gain depth and a very pleasing surface.

Blade steel and one-hand opening

The blade steel is Cru-Wear, a now well-known premium steel famous for becoming very sharp and holding its edge for a long time.

Smooth deployment with the iconic thumb hole often referred to as the "Spydie hole." The hole makes the knife work equally well for right-handed and left-handed users. When deployed, the blade is locked by the tried-and-tested compression lock mechanism located on the spine of the knife. This locking mechanism makes work safer and prevents the blade from accidentally closing during use. It also allows for quick and elegant one-handed closing of the knife.

Clip and carrying

The stainless steel clip can be moved to all four corners of the knife – smart and much appreciated. For those who prefer not to have a clip at all, this is also an option as it is easy to unscrew. Of course, there is also a lanyard hole for paracord/lanyard/catch line, reinforced with a continuous tunnel like an eyelet.
