Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Salt PlainEdge with H2 steel for water and demanding environments

This version of the Dragonfly 2 belongs to the SALT series and thus features a fantastic knife blade made from H2. This is an incredibly corrosion-resistant steel designed to withstand atrocious weather conditions and environments that would otherwise quickly destroy a regular knife blade. Use it near and in water without worry – saltwater or freshwater makes no difference. However, as always, it's important to clean your knife after use. Rinse, wipe clean, and let it dry so it's fresh for your next adventure!

Thoughtful design that fits perfectly in the hand

The Dragonfly model is incredibly popular for a reason: its truly thoughtful design means that the seemingly small folding knife fits just as well in the hand as if it were a couple of sizes larger. The knife opens easily with one hand via the through thumbhole – equally suitable for right- and left-handers. When open, the blade is locked by a back lock on the spine. The blade has jimping on the spine for extra grip, especially when working with gloves.

Handle, clip, and carry

The handles are made of FRN (fiber reinforced nylon) – glass-fiber reinforced nylon that is both extremely light and very durable. The wire clip is light and easy to attach and remove, and can be moved between the right and left sides. There is also a hole for a lanyard or retention cord – wise if the knife is used on a boat.
