The RAT II is an excellent pocket knife that we warmly recommend. The design is well thought out to be functional, user-friendly, and versatile, with its own design language. Material and information

The knife blade is made of proven D2 steel. A tool steel that is excellently suited for knives as it is durable and holds its edge very well. It has a high carbon content and is not quite as rust-resistant as more traditional stainless steels.

Smooth one-handed opening with a thumb stud that works equally well for both right and left-handed users as it is ambidextrous.
The blade is locked with a solid liner lock, ensuring safe use as the knife is not at risk of accidentally folding.

The handle is made of nylon. A material that is very suitable for knife handles. Good durability, low weight, and with its textured surface, it provides a good grip even in wet weather conditions or when wearing gloves.

Versatile clip

The Ontario RAT II D2 is equipped with a removable stainless steel clip with a black coating. The clip can be attached to both sides and in both tip-up and tip-down positions for personalized and comfortable carrying that suits both right and left-handed users. The knife also has a lanyard/paracord hole, which offers further possibilities for your own preferences.
