Material and information

The knife blade is made of AUS-8, a steel that Ontario has used in several of their most popular knife models and which is appreciated by many. It is a Japanese, stainless steel that is very rust-resistant and easy to sharpen and hone.

Smooth one-handed opening with a thumb stud that works equally well for both right and left-handed users as it is ambidextrous.
The blade is secured with a robust liner lock, ensuring safe use as the knife is not at risk of accidentally folding.

The handle is made of nylon. A material that is very suitable for knife handles. Good durability, low weight, and its structured surface provides an excellent grip even in wet weather conditions or when wearing gloves.

Versatile clip

The Ontario RAT I is equipped with a removable stainless steel clip with a black coating. The clip can be attached on both sides, and both tip-up and tip-down, for personalized and comfortable carrying suitable for both right and left-handed users. The knife also has a lanyard/paracord hole, offering further options for your preferences.
