The latest model of EDC organizer from Maxpedition, here in the largest of three different sizes. A versatile storage solution that holds a lot and can be worn around the neck or kept in a pocket, bag, or jacket!

Platy is the latest series of Maxpedition organizers, and the name reveals a lot – it's a rather flat bag. Inspired by a money belt, the bag works really well when traveling and can be worn under your clothes.

On the front of the bag is the large zippered compartment that opens the center of the bag. The design ensures everything lies neatly and securely and doesn't fall out as it is supported by the sides. On both sides of the opening, there is a compartment designed to hold equipment with a clip that secures the item in the opening. Suitable for a flashlight, pen, pry bar, or a knife, for example. At the very top, there is a loop that serves several functions. You can carry your bag by it, hang it up, and also use it as a counter-hold when pulling down the zipper. A sewn-on Maxpedition patch is also located on the front.

Back

The back of the Maxpedition Platy Pocket Organizer has a larger compartment where the included neck strap is stored when not in use. The strap, made of paracord, can be removed for those who wish, and its length can be adjusted with the cord lock, which is easily opened by pressing its button. Eyelets reinforce the holes through which the strap passes. An elastic band with stitching runs above the two lower compartments on the back. The strap helps keep items in place if they extend longer than the compartments themselves. The size of the compartments is suitable for a folding knife or a shorter pen, flashlight, or whatever you carry. A sewn-on Maxpedition patch is also on the back, so it doesn't matter which side you have facing forward or backward – it's clear you've chosen a top-notch brand!

Suitable size for wearing around the neck

The 5" x 7" size (height 12 cm and width 12.5 cm) is the largest in the Platy series, and the bag is excellent for hanging around the neck. The size isn't enormous, but it might fit better in a jacket pocket, cargo pocket, or bag than in a jeans pocket. However, if you have sturdy cargo pockets, it might work! Made of ballistic nylon, lightweight, and very durable.
