This is a product we think everyone should have a few of. Put one in your car, boat, emergency preparedness kit, and EDC kit. Its size and light weight mean it's barely noticeable in your pack but can be used for so much!

This is the first batch of this cord holder, and it comes with a full 30 meters of Armada line!

Armada-Weave™ – the world's strongest fiber

Armada-Weave™ is made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) – a material that is 15 times stronger than steel by weight and a full 30% lighter than nylon. The material has an exciting history; it was originally developed for ballistic armor, deep-sea mooring, and space. A super material now available for private use!

The properties of the thread are as follows:

• Water-repellent – won't rot
• UV-resistant and designed for long-term outdoor use
• Smoother than nylon in structure
• Durable, stretches only 3–5% under load
• Lightweight and floats on water
• Breaking strength of 130 lbs, which is about 65 kilograms – impressive for something as thin as sewing thread!

The possible uses are countless! Anything you can sew with regular thread can be upgraded with Armada-Weave™. Since it is very thin, it can replace sewing thread if you need to repair something that requires a very strong thread. Perfect for repairing your tarp, hammock, clothes – you name it!

How to use Armada-Weave™ safely and correctly

UHMWPE has a very smooth surface with low friction. It is very wear-resistant but requires you to adapt your knots to prevent them from slipping. So, keep this in mind for your mooring to work as intended:

• 1. Maximize friction – use knots with many wraps and preferably add an extra knot to be on the safe side.
• 2. Leave an extra bit – always leave at least 2.5–3.5 cm over after completing the knot as a safety buffer so you can adjust.

TidyTether – holder features

• The Maratac TidyTether is designed to be lightweight, durable, and have some flexibility to prevent breakage.
• Hole for hanging it on, for example, a carabiner
• Integrated razor blade – cuts up to 3/16" line (not 550 paracord, which is too thick)
• Tapered holder that locks both the beginning and end of thinner lines in place so they don't hang loose.
• Holds approximately 9 meters of 550 paracord or up to 260 meters of fishing line
• Can also be used as a holder for duct tape. When designing the holder, it was assumed that the size would be perfect for duct tape (approx. 5.4 cm)
