Exotac Matchcap XL - almost indestructible

The Exotac Matchcap XL is often described as almost indestructible. The capsule has sturdy threads and is equipped with O-rings that make it waterproof (down to 1 meter deep) and airtight – two properties required for the matches to function. Inside there is a replaceable striker to light the matches on, also protected from moisture. At the bottom there is another striker for so-called Cowboy matches which can be lit on most things.

Practical design

Of course, you can store other things than matches in the capsule – an item up to 7.4 cm long will fit. The bottom part has a coarse pattern for grip even with gloves.
