Original part, small scissor spring that fits the scissors on the smallest 58mm Victorinox knives. The spring is made of stainless steel and, of course, manufactured in Switzerland.
This is the same as the one in your knife's scissors when it was new from the factory.

Scissor springs are a wear part, and sooner or later the spring will become fatigued or break. This is a spare part that we recommend always having one or two extra of in stock at home so you are ready if it happens. If you are going on longer adventures, it's not a bad idea to bring an extra one as a backup.
