VG-10 blade made in Seki City, Japan

The blade on the Spyderco Ladybug is made from VG-10 – very sharp straight from the factory and manufactured in the legendary knife city of Seki City in Japan. The blade has jimping on the spine for significantly improved grip. Easy one-handed opening with the iconic Spyderco hole, which works equally well for right and left-handed users. When open, the blade locks with a tried-and-tested backlock – also ambidextrous.

FRN handle and keychain hole

The handle is made from FRN – fiberglass-reinforced nylon with very low weight but high durability. The through-hole at the back of the Ladybug allows you to hang it on your keychain, attach a lanyard, or a wrist strap – a tip we always advocate!
