The QSP Knife Penguin Glyde Lock takes this ENORMOUS EDC success to the next level with a 14C28N steel blade, G-10 handles, and a brand new lock for the model!

Glyde Lock

New for the model is the lock - Glyde Lock!
This is a lock found in several brands and under different names. But the key is that the blade locks with a lock button that you pull back to release the blade. A very smooth and secure lock that also allows you to push back the lock button and flick out the blade.

The lock button goes all the way through, just like the thumb stud, making it equally easy to open/close regardless of which hand you use!

Just like the original Penguin model, the QSP Knife Penguin Glyde Lock also has jimping on the spine of the blade. This pattern provides excellent control when working and applying pressure to the spine.

FRN Handle

The handles of the QSP Knife Penguin Glyde Lock are made of a material that we have seen a lot of in the knife world over the years. However, not as often on knives from QSP Knife - FRN!

A light and very durable material that is perfectly suited for knives!

QSP Knife Penguin Glyde Lock with upgraded blade steel

The blade steel has now been upgraded to 14C28N, a Swedish steel from Sandvik!
It is a stainless steel that can be made extremely sharp, very hard without being brittle. The blade rests on ceramic ball bearings, which means that opening and closing the knife is lightning fast!

Deep carry clip and lanyard hole

Here too, they have opted for a discreet deep carry clip that ensures a minimal amount of the knife protrudes when carried in the pocket. The clip can be moved between sides to suit both right-handed and left-handed users. An oval lanyard hole is of course included!
