Material and information

The blade of the Ontario RAT II is made of AUS-8, a steel that Ontario has used in several of their most popular knife models and is appreciated by many. It is a Japanese, stainless steel that is very rust-resistant and easy to sharpen and hone.

Smooth one-handed opening with a thumb stud that works equally well for both right- and left-handed users as it is ambidextrous.
The blade is locked with a robust liner lock, ensuring safe use as the knife is not at risk of accidentally folding.

The handle is made of nylon. A material that is very suitable for knife handles. Good durability, low weight, and its textured surface provides a good grip even in wet weather conditions or when wearing gloves.

Versatile clip

The Ontario RAT II is equipped with a removable stainless steel clip with a black coating. The clip can be attached to both sides and in both tip-up and tip-down positions for personalized and comfortable carrying that suits both right- and left-handers. The knife also has a lanyard/paracord hole, offering further options for your own preferences.
