The capsule is made from food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade PET plastic (polyethylene terephthalate), which is crush-resistant, dishwasher-safe, and transparent so you can always see what's inside. It's the same material used for soda bottles, among other things.

The screw cap is airtight, watertight, and has a tamper-evident seal – perfect when you need to know if the contents have been tampered with.
