Higonokami Folder Brass - Carbon Steel Folding Knife with Brass Handle
Higonokami Folder Brass - carbon steel folding knife with brass handle and classic Japanese design!
When you say traditional Japanese folding knife…
…this is the mold they were cast in! A very simple but ever so functional design that has remained alive for generations.
Blue paper steel - a steel that can be made very sharp
The knife blade is made of what is called blue paper steel - a high carbon steel. As with all carbon steels, it can be made very sharp. The blade is deployed with the small lever, on which you place your thumb when in use for a stable grip and to prevent the knife from folding back.
Higonokami Folder Brass - brass handle that patinates over time
The handles are made of a single piece of folded brass and will develop their own patina over time. A simple EDC knife with the right forms - a knife that only gets better looking the more it is used, as both materials are metals that oxidize.
Lanyard hole at the bottom
At the bottom of the handle there is a through-hole where you can attach a lanyard or a leather cord.
