A strop allows you to get the absolute most out of an already sharp edge. When using a knife blade, tiny rolls occur at the very tip of the edge. A strop smooths out these rolls, returning the edge to perfectly straight. It's excellent for a straight razor, but also for all other knife blades you use daily. Everything from your EDC knife to your kitchen knife will become truly sharp after stropping.

This German-made strop has a loop for attaching it to a wall or hanging it on any hook. The handle allows for a truly taut and controlled stropping action.

The strop can be used with or without abrasive paste. It is important to care for the leather and keep it lubricated. A tube of leather conditioner is included.
