A compact and well-thought-out solution to always keep your parachute cord tidy and organized in your pack! The holder comes pre-wound with 30 meters of 550 cord and has a built-in razor blade for safe and precise cutting. The center of the holder features a clever compartment that can store, for example, a large BIC lighter and fishing hooks!

Finally, a really smart and convenient solution for both storing and carrying your paracord on your adventures. Carrying paracord is always a good idea – but it can be a bit tricky when you have to carry a whole hank. The risk of it getting tangled is quite high. But with the Ready Rope, you not only carry your paracord neatly – Atwood has really thought this through!
Built-in storage
The base of the holder is made of very durable plastic, with a hollow core for carrying smaller but important items. It's designed with an oval shape, the same dimensions as a classic BIC lighter – very clever! You can also insert a fire starter, fishing hook, a small first aid kit, a flashlight, or whatever else you might need. The compartment is kept closed with a lid that has a small hole where you can tie a string so you don't lose it.
Built-in razor blade
At the other end of the Atwood Rope MFG Ready Rope holder, there's a well-protected razor blade. The razor blade allows you to quickly and neatly cut off exactly the length of paracord you need, without having to take out scissors or a knife. Once you've taken the piece you need, you clamp the paracord in the small cord holder so it stays securely.
Reusable holder
When you've used all the included paracord (standard hank of 30 meters of 4 mm 550 parachute cord with 250 kg breaking strength, consisting of a total of 8 strands, 7 of which are thinner inner threads), you can simply wind on a new hank, which you can buy here in the shop.
