58 mm
58 mm is the size for Victorinox's smallest pocket knives. These scales have space for a toothpick and tweezers, but there is also a variant with space for a pressurized ballpoint pen. 58 mm scales fit models such as:
- Classic
- Classic SD
- Jetsetter
- Manager
- Mini Champ
- Rambler, etc.
84 mm
84 mm is the smaller size of what are sometimes called medium-sized Victorinox knives. There are two variants – one that fits knives with a corkscrew and one with a solid back for knives without a corkscrew. Examples of models:
- My First Victorinox (solid back)
- Recruit
- Sportsman
- Tinker Small
- Tourist
- Waiter
91 mm and 91 mm Plus Scales
91 mm is the most common size for Victorinox knives. Fits models like Climber, Huntsman, and Spartan. Plus scales have an extra compartment for a pressurized ballpoint pen and fit all 91 mm models – they are originally found on, among others:
- Compact
- Cyber Tool
- Explorer
- Handyman, etc.
111 mm
111 mm is the length of scales for Victorinox's largest knives, for example:
- Forester
- Picknicker
- Ranger
- Rescue Tool
- Sentinel
- Skipper
- Soldiers Knife 08
- Work Champ
Replacing scales – a DIY job
