Our own SLIMS.SE stickers are very popular for water bottles. They are made of quality vinyl and are very durable – but remember to handwash with lukewarm water. Dishwashing machines don't work, partly due to the heat and partly because dishwasher detergent is aggressive.
How to apply the sticker correctly
Two things determine whether your sticker will adhere well and for a long time:
- Flat surface – the entire sticker must be able to adhere airtight to the surface. Even the smallest unevenness will be visible and impair adhesion.
- Completely clean surface – 100% free from dirt and grease. Wash with alcohol or window cleaner, let it dry completely before attaching the sticker.
Get the sticker smooth without air bubbles
Take your time to position it before attaching. Smooth out the sticker a bit at a time with a credit card as a squeegee – don't peel off the entire backing paper at once. If a small air bubble forms: poke a tiny hole with a pin and press out the air with your finger or credit card.
