LANYARDS

With a lanyard for your knife, flashlight, or other tool, you easily get several different advantages – while also making your equipment more personal. If there are several people in the household, it's a convenient way to distinguish whose gear is whose by using different colors.

What is a lanyard?

A lanyard is usually a decorative piece of paracord, leather, or other durable cord. But a lanyard is not just decoration – it also extends the grip of the knife, light, or tool. Very effective when you have a smaller knife that is difficult to grip, especially if you are wearing gloves.

Easier to find and easier to grab

Depending on the color, your tool will be easier to find if it's dropped in nature or in your pack. Many people let their lanyard stick out of their pocket opening – a clever way to quickly pick up keys or a pocket knife, for example. If you want to add a little extra personal touch, you can always add a bead.

Paracord lanyard – always a bit of emergency rope at hand

With a lanyard made of 550-paracord, you always have a sturdy rope with you for an unexpected situation. The rope takes up very little space when braided and is easy to unravel and use as, for example, shoelaces or to secure cargo.
