Reviving Old Leather

Older leather that has become dry but hasn't developed deep cracks can often become beautiful and functional again. However, it requires patience and a gentle approach. First, you must clean the leather – often, gently brushing it with a soft brush is sufficient. Then, it's important to start lubricating it, in stages and with patience. Slowly but surely, you usually get both luster and softness back!
