Knife storage is important for a number of different reasons, both for storage at home and for transport.
First and foremost, you want order and tidiness, and you also want a quick overview of what you have with you or store at home.

What you should consider when storing your knives or other EDC equipment is the following:

• the knife/tool should be clean and dry.
• if the knife or equipment is made of a steel that rusts, it is wise to oil it so that it does not oxidize (oils and knife service accessories for knives can be found HERE)!
• if you are long-term storing a flashlight, you should remove the battery!
• store your bag with items so that no one who could injure themselves on the items can easily get hold of it.
