HANKS
Hank is short for handkerchief – a handkerchief or snusnäsduk (tobacco cloth) as we call it here in Sweden! However, hanks are not very common for blowing your nose into, at least not when it comes to EDC.
What is a hank used for in EDC?
In this context, the hank is used to wipe your knife clean and protect your gear when you lay it out, for example, on the ground. A popular surface for photographing a classic EDC flatlay – and a stylish way to showcase your gear.
Material and use
Hanks come in various materials and patterns – from simple cotton cloths to more exclusive variants. Small, lightweight, and always useful – a given part of a well-thought-out EDC.
