275 TACTICAL PARACORD

275 tactical paracord is the most common size below the standard 550 size. The reason the cord is called 275 is that it is rated for a strength of 275 pounds – which translates to about 125 kg.

275 tactical paracord - versatile and flexible

The 275 cord is sometimes called tactical cord and has a diameter of about 2.4 mm, making it more flexible to use as shoelaces as it fits more shoes than 550 cord. It is a bit trickier to braid more advanced braids with, as it is not as stiff as thicker varieties. Its interior consists of 4 thinner strands.

Perfect for EDC and outdoor life

Thanks to its thin profile, the 275 cord takes up minimal space and is excellent as a shoelace, for carrying small tools, or as an emergency rope in your pocket. The inner threads can be pulled out and used as fishing line or sewing thread.
